UX/UI Digital & Graphic Design Consultant (2023 - 2024)

Client: The University of Adelaide

Designing website page templates for the new university website, based on workshopped university stakeholder requirements. We’re tasked with designing components grounded in the present state with a vision for future state requirements. Our responsibilities extended to foundational template pages for both desktop and mobile interfaces. Key features included search functions, product finder, study area templates, and integrated data elements.

Client: Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money, ME Bank

Managing the development, maintenance, and enhancement of comprehensive design communication templates for BOQ, Virgin Money, and ME Bank banking apps. This included facilitating workshops to optimise user experiences, designing screens across all three brands based on client and user feedback, and iteratively wireframing for continuous improvement. Maintaining an organised and updated detailed design library, and effectively liaising with developers for seamless handover of detailed designs via Zeplin, ensuring consistency in app architecture and framework.

Client: City of Gold Coast Council

Collaborating with a specialised Service Design team, with a focus on council services, to contribute to the development of 8 core MVP blueprints, designing and printing these in large format and presenting to council stakeholders upon conclusion of the project. As the only graphic designer in the team, I was tasked with the responsibility of designing all 8 large format blueprints (1m x 3m), setting up for printing and liaising with the printers for an accurate, cohesive production result.

Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation (Vic Gov

Senior Graphic Designer (2017 - 2023)

Leading the design of digital and print collateral for the national Love the Game, Not the Odds campaign program, in collaboration with prominent sports stakeholders such as AFL, AFLW, BBL, Cricket Vic, NBL, Netball Vic, and Football Federation Vic.

Conceptualising and designing annual strategic board documents, including annual reports, business plans, strategic planning reports, and collaborating with First Nations designers to design VRGF’s reconciliation action plans. Many of these documents were annually produced, and tabled in parliament under strict reporting requirements.

Contributing design support to ATL, BTL and TTL marketing campaigns at a state/national level through the development of digital marketing ads, in venue print marketing, large format print collateral and ad-hoc digital and print collateral as needed. Campaigns include the annual Love the Game, Not the Odds AFL round, ‘Harm’ campaigns, Reset app launch campaign, Gambling Harm Awareness Week and 100 Day Challenge.

Conceptualising and design rollout of annual Gambling Harm Conference collateral. This included the design of a full digital ad suite, conference collateral, lanyards, itinerary pamphlets, conference booklets, key speaker posters, pullup banners, and venue digital displays amongst others.

Collaborating with child educators to develop and design the pioneer educator program, ‘The Bridge,’ for use in primary schools. The content of the program was initially developed by educators and primary aged children, who then engaged the VRGF for funding and design including multiple workbooks, teacher guides, activity cards and program factsheets.

Designing and maintaining branded training documents for venues, including those related to Responsible Service of Gaming, a statewide mandatory training program for venue employees.

Creating logo concepts and brand guidelines for two new First Nations programs, a sporting program and a gambling harm awareness program designed for First Nations communities.

The ongoing developing and maintaining in-house collateral across both brands (VRGF and Gambler’s Help), including brochures, business cards, flyers, custom stakeholder documents, signage, and event activation collateral.

Yooralla (not-for-profit)

Senior Graphic Designer (2015 - 2017)

Conceptualising, developing and designing a comprehensive Yooralla-branded campaign for transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This involved the development and design of visually appealing information booklets, instructional documents, factsheets, digital advertisements, the creation of Yooralla’s popular NDIS characters, and an ongoing, evolving campaign style guide.

Leading the design for Yooralla’s 100 year anniversary campaign. This particular project showcased our commitment to diversity and disability, as we strived to represent these core values in our design choices. The brief included the design of a unique, centenary year identity with logo and centenary branding elements. The result was the use of colourful, patterned building blocks, representing diversity and uniqueness. The design was flexible in its application across print and digital, and unique each instance it was applied.

In addition to these large-scale campaigns, I was also responsible for designing all in-house annual reports, documents, print and digital collateral.
