Kate has extensive experience in online and offline marketing and business development, with the last 13 years focused solely on online digital strategy. She has trained with some of the world’s leading experts in social media and is up to date with each change as it happens in this rapidly changing industry.
Kate is often called on to speak at conferences and other events and has provided coaching, training, and social media implementation for more than 3000 companies, small businesses, and membership based organisations.
In 2019 Kate launched the Social Lights Podcast, where she interviews change makers, innovators and community managers on their work and how they grow and activate their tribe on social media.
She has a Cert IV in workplace training, and a degree in social work and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Company Directors Course. She is a Digital Community Champion with the Queensland State Government and one of 5 Lead Trainers globally for the Facebook Community Manager Certification program.
