Summary
I have more than 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, event management, stakeholder consultation, media relations, crisis management, writing, editing, website management, research, and policy.
I work across a broad range of industries, including tourism, education, banking and finance, civil construction and infrastructure, aged care, disability, small business, health and technology.

Biosecurity QLD, Dept of Agriculture and Fisheries
Prinicipal Engagement Manager (2022 - 2022)
Develop and implement communications and engagement strategy for Japanese Encephalitis (project). This included stakeholder management, liaising with biosecurity experts and scientists in this specialty area, writing, and website management.
Jaws Communications
Senior Communications Consultant (2022 - 2022)
Communications, marketing, and media services provided to the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal FRRR (Australia's largest philanthropic organisation.) The role involved promoting the FRRR brand, grants, and funding streams to build capacity in regional Australia.
Without a doubt, this was a meaningful role where everyone I worked with 'did magic to bring about major change'. Great team, great ethics and loved being a change-maker.
Department of Transport and Main Roads
Project Engagement Advisor (2022 - current)
Managing stakeholder communications, engagement, and consultation for a major QLD road project. In between providing strategic advice to project directors, I manage events, issues, crisis communications, as well as writing newsletters, media releases, strategies and reports.
NSW Electoral Commission
Return Officer (2021 - 2022)
Oversee the conduct and integrity of the 2021 Tweed Council election. Coordinate and manage a large-scale operation and deliver election activities within a legislated timeframe. I managed stakeholders from candidates, media, scrutineers, and the community. I was involved with recruiting, training and leading a temporary team of nearly 400 people to work across various locations.

Communications and Events Specialist (2019 - 2020)
Develop communications and events campaigns to create awareness of:
1.) the New Banking Code of Practice, and
2.) bank relief and assistance available for small business during COVID-19.
Arrange events to increase awareness of the new Banking Code and how Australian banks can assist customers.
Prepare presentations and speeches for the CEO.
